Mixing humour and heart with a unique storyline, the brand new third series of hit HBO comedy series Hung has its UK premiere on Sky Atlantic HD on Tuesday 6 December.

Starring Thomas Jane (The Mist), Jane Adams (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind) and Anne Heche (Donnie Brasco) the show tells the darkly humorous story of a man fighting to survive personal setbacks that have been compounded by a troubled ecnomy.

Set in the recession-plagued suburbs of Detroit, Hung revolves around the unorthodox divorced teacher and coach Ray Drecker (Jane) to generate extra cash - by selling his "winning tool" to women.

First seen in the US in 2009, Hung received praise for its unique and refreshing take on complex themes including family, relationships and the personal and psychological effects of the economic downturn; securing an Emmy and Golden Glob nominations.

Season 3 continues the quality storytelling as Ray and his unlikely pimp Tanya (Adams) take matters into their own hands in the face of a worsening economy by opening the "Happiness Consultants Wellness Centre for Women", a front for their gigolo business.
